DMSI is fresh off a successful week at the annual Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP) conference. Celebrating their 30th year hosting the event that brings together more than 1,000 attendees from around the globe, SMRP and its conference-goers descended on Raleigh, North Carolina October 17th – 20th for professional development, education, networking, and innovation.
DMSI National Sales Manager for Canada, Ian Lam, helmed our exhibit at the SMRP conference along with our implementation partners, the T5 Group.
We had the opportunity to demo a new product
We demoed InspectMT™ on an array of devices for conference attendees to try, while the T5 Group shared their positive experience implementing MAINTelligence™ in the pulp and paper industry. Our team was thrilled to meet with clients and potential partners from around the world, interested in adding digital handheld inspections and integrated condition monitoring to their reliability strategy.
Those we spoke with were excited to expand their current MAINTelligence™ products to additional sites, while others were looking to phase out their old InspectCE™ devices for our new InspectMT™ upgrade. A huge thank you to clients Wells Enterprise (Blue Bunny), WestRock, Syngenta, and Georgia-Pacific for stopping by – it was great getting to see you in person!
We saw so many cool new ideas and products
This included hands-free augmented reality devices and quadriplegic robots at SMRP, and enjoyed connecting with our clients and colleagues. But our experience at the tradeshow also showed us that DMSI is still a leader in the reliability and maintenance field, and as part of the industry at large we remain committed to cutting edge practices through innovation and such community-building exercises as the SMRP conference. The conference emphasized that there is still a large need for a digital inspection system and asset performance management platform for the majority of the industry.
