Did you miss us at MainTrain 2022 in Toronto?

By Ian Lam, DMSI’s National Sales Manager, Canada

DMSI was thrilled to take part in this year’s MainTrain event, Canada’s largest maintenance and physical asset management conference. This annual exhibition and networking event features leading experts, practitioners, and professionals from around the world, sharing their insights and strategies on maintenance, reliability, and asset management.

As an industry leader, we attended MainTrain

Again as a Silver Sponsor, seeing the importance of events such as these to help enable excellence in the maintenance, reliability, and asset management field through collaborative efforts. You can read more about PEMAC Asset Management Association of Canada who put on MainTrain, and the Case for Asset Management.

It felt good after two long years, for the first time since Covid started, to get to meet our clients and other practitioners and experts in the maintenance and reliability industry in person! For four days, we converged on the FourPoints by Sheraton Toronto Airport to expand upon what excellence in the industry means and broaden our asset management community.

Domtar, Irving Pulp & Paper and Neptune Bulk Terminals: clients in attendance

It was great to see long-term clients. Domtar and Irving Pulp and Paper, along with new client Neptune Bulk Terminals were in attendance. Congratulations to Irving Pulp and Paper on winning the PEMAC Maintenance Team of the Year for 2021! The team was honored to be nominated based upon long-term sustained performance improvements, professional development, controlling reactive maintenance, and continuous improvement—which all included using MAINTelligence. We are proud to be a part of their team’s synergy and productivity.

Congratulations as well to Dana Nielsen, Acting Reliability Superintendent at Neptune Bulk Terminals. They won the MMP Capstone Award for Project of the Year for their company’s transition from reactive-based maintenance to a predictive-based maintenance program which was focused primarily on their implementation of MAINTelligence. Dana did a fantastic presentation of her project, which is a good step towards raising awareness and all part of that collaborative effort in our asset management community!
