Company History
|
- Design Maintenance Systems Inc. was formed in 1986 to supply a level of customer support and technological expertise that we felt was unavailable in the predictive maintenance field.
- Initially, we served clients in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest, implementing vibration and fluid analysis programs for a broad cross-section of local industry.
- By 1990, we were well established as leading condition monitoring consulting firm in a number of industries, including pulp and paper, petrochemical, marine operations and metal smelting and refining.
- The product development division of DMSI came into existence to develop tools to reduce the effort involved in collecting and administering data for condition monitoring. This led into research projects aimed at reducing data analysis effort.
- These developments have led to a series of commercially available software products, designed to integrate vibration analysis, lubricant analysis, performance monitoring, maintenance scheduling, asset management and inventory management. These products have been highly successful on a world wide basis, through our own efforts and the efforts of our OEM partners.
- Inspired by the success and recognition of our software systems, DMSI continues to explore the full potential of our research and development capabilities.
- Projects are being undertaken on a continuous basis to broaden and enhance our ability to develop innovative solutions to maintenance management and condition monitoring challenges.
